National Women’s Soccer League side OL Reign announced on September 30, 2020 that they selected the Black Future Co-op Fund as its partner for the 2020 NWSL Verizon Community Shield. The competition, run as part of the NWSL Fall Series, provides clubs with the opportunity to win grants for their designated non-profit organization or local small business in the market where they play.

Join the OL REIGN and donate to the BLACK FUTURE CO-OP FUND today. Your donation ELIGIBLE TO be matched.

The Black Future Co-op Fund aims to address systemic inequality and the disproportionate effect that COVID-19 has had on the Black community in Washington State. The Fund was chosen by OL Reign’s players as the non-profit they felt was most important to support when they took the field this fall.

The partners of the three teams that finish at the top of the NWSL Fall Series table will win grants from Verizon of $25,000, $15,000 and $10,000, respectively. The OL Reign ownership group has committed to a dollar-for-dollar match of the grant from Verizon.

OL Reign encourage their fans to donate directly to the Black Future Co-op Fund online to aid their work in Washington State.
